This is the first year that I feel LSU will lose. Our offense will put up the points, but our defense will get killed. Too many injuries

Our offense is too streaky for me to have confidence. They’ll be flat part of the game, then dynamic during other streaks.

I don't think you're wrong, I know you are.

Granted many are optimistic but they still concede this game could go south in a hurry.

After the Texas loss and the South Florida struggle win (without Milroe) it looked like the season would be a disaster. We have gotten better each week so that it no longer feels that way. This team has struggles every week but has found ways to win anyway. It honestly reminds me of the 1992 team, we struggled mightily every week but kept pulling games out until we won it all. I'm not saying it will turn out that way this year, but we're now going into games hoping for any kind of win instead of being frustrated that we're not hanging 50 on people or that our QB is not a first round pick (for now).

Not a lot of holes in this D.

I'm gonna have to disagree with this. They still have spells where they can't get a stop to get off the field. They were fortunate Tennessee's Milton screwed up on some throws on two occasions inside the Bama ten yard line. We saw how they caved in the 3rd Q against Arkansas and Texas embarrassed them on multiple occasions. I believe Jaden Daniels is a much more proficient QB than Quinn Ewers.
It's going to be a tough game.

I think a lot of LSU fans are putting too much stock in their two most recent games against Auburn and Army.

I think the auburn game was the best example of what LSU is capable of. that was a total arse kicking and a half against a QB who couldn't be accurate. the defensive pressure was something we haven't seen much of this season.

the bama run game stats have me honestly shocked at how bad they have been. they don't really make any sense in regards to what we have come to expect from rushing from the tide.

Certainly not enough to be "totally sure" of a win against anybody with a pulse.

This game pits strength vs strength and weakness vs weakness so I have avoided any predictions.

Bama RB's are averaging almost 5 ypc without the sack yardage factored in.

Alabama dominated that game and were leading 24-7 in the second half. Arkansas tacked on two residual TDs to make the score look presentable, but they weren't really in that game.

By contrast, LSU and that same bad Arky team were in a dogfight throughout. And this Arky team rivals South Carolina and Vanderbilt for the conference's worst team: they lost to MOO STATE in a stinker of a game in Fayetteville, 3-7.

Really truthfully no one knows what’s going up happen to this game this year.

Bama has to be favored after losing last year but LSU has always played well in Tuscaloosa.

LSU has the best dual threat QB in the country, which has always been bamas kryptonite.

Milroe is like good one minute terrible the next, can throw a 50 yard dime and overthrow a 10 yard pass to a wide open receiver by 10 yards. But if bama can run the ball effectively against us we are probably screwed.

Bamas defense is very good but you can pass on them.

I really think STs and turnovers will decide this one.

35-32 not sure who wins

If LSU could muster 3+ sacks I’d be one happy mf’er.

Honestly, we need our offense to be seriously clicking to win this game IMO. Put pressure on Bama to keep up and maybe have QB make a mistake or two.

Yall are so accustomed to having an elite qb that having to watch one develop would make it frustrating.

I don't know how our fans feel, but for me it's been fun watching this team develop, play hard and improve week to week.

We've been spoiled rotten for years, it's fun as a fan to watch players dig deep, work hard and gradually get better. I think everyone, from the trainers to the players to the position coaches, etc. are working their asses off this season.
