Bert is doing all the right things. I'm not quite convinced he's the guy to get Arky to the upper echelon of the league, but I do think he can put together a solid team that'll give anyone trouble.

So how many coaches have earned their contract? I say Saban, Miles, and Gus. Richt is close but no. Sumlin certinaly hasn't earned his 5 mil a year so this thread coming from an A&M is really ironic, I'm Atleast buying into some of the Arky hype.

It seems like A&M coaches have an affinity for packing it in once that A&M check is flashed in front of them.

It does seem like a risky move for Arkansas . If his results don't improve they could be the worst team in the west for a while . The expectation seem unrealistic , he runs a offense that is more of what BAMA was running but they can get any players they want Bert gets mostly second tier players at best . I don't get the support for Bret , atleast Jones at Tenn is filling the roster with talent .
