Bret's first season results in a 0-8 conference record. They lost to Rutgers. Rutgers. The next year he pulls off 2 conference wins and a win over a decimated Texas team and what does he get in reward? A raise and a extension. Bielema has gone 10-15 overall and just 2-14 in the SEC in his two seasons in Fayetteville. Sure the razorbacks shut out Ole Miss and LSU as well. Then they lost their last conference game against Mizzou. He is rewarded by joining the $4 million club along with Nick Saban, Les Miles, Kevin Sumlin, Steve Spurrier, Gus Malzahn, Hugh Freeze and Mark Richt. Bret, who would be owed $15.4 million if(when) he's fired any time before 2018 and a minimum of $7.9 million if(when) he's fired any time before 2020, has given Arkansas a Dilemma, the Bielema Dilemma...

Bret is a good coach. You don't turn around a down football program over night. His arky teams have shown significant improvement since he has been there.

And y'all pay Sumlin over $5 million despite the fact that he's never won a conference title (not even in 2011 with a loaded Houston team).

Crazy his 12-0 team lost to 10-2 USM just a few days after rumors he was taking the A&M job surfaced. What a loser.

What he has done at a lower tier school such as Arkansas is nothing short of amazing.

I think most ADs would take Bert over every SEC coach besides Saban or Gus right now.

Bielema is a pretty darn good coach, I think Arkansas takes a step back this year though.
