Right now? Kirby, Dabo. I don't think either would leave though so they would end up with Urban Meyer.

If he retires in the next year or two i don't see how it wouldn't. Fans will want a coach that has a title. Who else would they get? Mack Brown? Miles?

A "one of us" hire would be a disaster as they wouldn't command respect from the kids like someone who has a title under their belt.

isn't Dabo or the litany of other names that have been bandied about during the off season. Nope. The best replacement for Saban would be Orgeron. Expectations are high. Bama needs a coach with thick skin and who will evolve and not try to force their system if the players don't fit or isn't working. O evolves. O fits the criteria to a T. Only issue for Bama though, is you can't have him.

Coach Orgeron isn't going to be at LSU forever too! Might he want to test the market and maybe Alabama will hire him?

Why? Orgeron understands his limitations and has learned to let his coaches coach he is an elite recruiter. I mean I guess he could turn into Chizick but I doubt it.

If not Dabo, then it should be Mario.

I honestly would take Cristobal in a heartbeat over any other coach including Dabo and I mean it.

He’s coached at a nobody and a powerhouse in FIU in Oregon and he’s coached as an assistant at Alabama and knows the culture and what’s expected of him at the highest level. Same goes for recruiting. He was on 3 teams that went to a national championship in college (2 of which they won). All in all, I think Mario Cristobal has all the makings to be a great Alabama coach post-Saban. I wouldn’t expect him to be another Saban, but certainly a great coach that keeps the tradition of winning going.

Look, Ed is so Cajun even YOU GUYS were hesitant to give him a real chance. He is a great coach but if you think Alabama is going to be subtitling their press conferences you are insane. You are also insane to think Ed would leave LSU, I truly think a team could triple his pay and he wouldn’t consider it. He is the ultimate true son.

Dabo by far is the best hire unless he did the horrible act like Saban who has played politics causing great division

Saban prompted a democrat senator that did a coup on the American voters by voting to throw trump out and not give the voters their chance

If he continues on the track he is on he would be a great choice. I think he still has a lot to prove with the ducks.

Urban had a heart attack from coaching in the SEC least, he wouldn’t last two years in the west under way more pressure at Bama. No coach with a resume like that will want to coach there following Saban. Will have to roll the dice on an up and comer.

Cristobal likely if he can swing a NC to Oregon.

CrystalMeth couldn’t find a National Championship at Oregon if you jammed it up his @$$ sidewise and let him use both hands and gave him a roadmap to find it —

RAY PERKINS IS WAITING IN THE WINGS

Patiently!

Ray Perkins, the former Alabama and NFL coach who retired last fall after two standout seasons leading Jones County Junior College, is helping the Warriors as a volunteer coach.

Ray stated, “I didn’t know how to suck a dik when I went to Alabama in 1982, now I can handle four at a time”.

Ray’s looking forward to replacing Saban as he knows the Dwarf has a snowballs chance in hell to tie the Bear’s Records. Ray knows it’s only a 4-year gig and he’s good with that!

Dabo already did the horrible act —

Mike DuBose & Dabo were Fired by the University of Alabama for involvement in the Pay for Play scandal and both were deemed TOTAL FKN IGNORAMUSES INCAPABLE OF CHEATING WITHOUT BEING CAUGHT

Not a chance they hire him back!

Besides the lingering schittstain of 44-16 that he would bring to the Program, he would just piss people off constantly and induce cult violence with kumbaya sessions with scumbags like Harvey Updyke et al

How am I doing?

Mario Crystobal will be Sabans replacement in the next 5 years

Unless somebody else makes him a great offer first. If Saban hangs on much longer, I could see a Texas, Florida, Auburn, Oklahoma, type school get him first if they are looking. Coaches don't like waiting too long. Then the other scenario, if he gets Oregon to the top like Dabo did at Clemson, why leave?
