Earley blew a hole in the other guy's plan. We have unannounced players that are coming back (from the PC), which means most of them are coming back. I'm glad Earley stayed.

Could be that, or that following Jimbo Schloscariot to TU seemed like a bad idea.

Kneejerk reactions from some. It takes training to steer clear of the bullshite.

I mean we were told that Schloss and Co were recruiting the current roster to Texas and securing NIL deals for them there.

Maybe they were and the NIL didn't work out.

Maybe the players didn't expect to know the coach A&M hired.

Or maybe it's 20-something kids getting blindsided and trying to keep their options opened.

Who knows.

Seems unlikely that any significant number will end up at Texas, but for a hot minute, it looked like the Horns might have bought themselves a coach and gotten a whole team as a set.

Camarillo, Schott, Grahovac and LaViolette have all withdrawn their names from the portal. Bell, Vossos and Johnston have all moved on. None of them have gone to UTrans.

Figured that you would be smart enough to not post threads too Earley that tend to backfire.

One thing is for certain, Aggies vs Texas baseball will he myst see TV next year. If both teams are decent, the ratings will be crazy on those games if you play eachother... haven't looked at the schedules am assuming you do or will.

Texas will suck pretty badly, and they have a ton of rebuilding to do - not crying for them at all. A&M looks like they are going to be stacked.

I would say that LSU and A&M look like the early favorites for next year. Tennessee rebuilding with the #1 recruiting class.

Hahaha. What a joke.

Maybe you shouldn’t just assume the crap you hear from now on….

But we won’t hold our breath.

Huge to see Kent staying. He came up clutch this year.

It was well documented that he did not have a great relationship with Schloss.

Kent hates the former coach. Dumbass literally kept him on the bench all year long until he didn’t have an option

Would love to see this blow up in Texas’s face. The coach that the players loved is back in College Station, and UT Austin doesn’t get the players going over they thought they would.

Not only did Texas not poach any active players, they had to throw a massive NIL deal at their top hitter to keep him from going to College Station.

Texas thought they would dance on Aggie grave going into football season

Now they just look stupid

Even if it doesn't work out for A&M its a good feeling that we have control of our destiny.

Interesting that all the 2025 recruits that flipped to Texas are pitchers. I think Weiner is a great coach but found it interesting that none of our pitchers entered the portal.

Texas needs pitchers desperately while we are pretty set so it makes sense for these kids to switch.
