It's baseball. They don't use blueblood with baseball.

I've never seen a blueblood beat their chest because of come from behind wins against Kennesaw State and Southern Miss type programs. Then act like they just beat The #1 team in the country

It's a red flag you needed a come from behind W against those teams in the first place.

LSU and Miss State are the biggest reasons college baseball has grown like it has, especially in this conference. I don't think you understand what "blue blood" means.

Regardless, Paul Mainieri was a national top 8 seed 8 times in 14 years, went to the CWS 5 times, won the SEC title 4 times, and won the SECT 6 times...and won a national title.

Even Smoke Laval made to to Omaha twice and hosted regionals his first 4 years before getting fired after his 5th.

LSU baseball has gone on just fine since Skip retired. Sorry none of our coaches since him have replicated his success. No one else since has either and no one else likely ever will again.

Yeah, fans shouldn't celebrate after two massive comebacks on back to back nights in the NCAA Tournament.

Not so fast on writing off USM.
LSU goes down 8-4 tonight. Tomorrow could be interesting. LSU still has the advantage but it will probably be a very competitive game.

You don't say...

I don't think anyone expects LSU to make a deep run this year...

LSU has pretty much played shitty baseball outside of two big innings. USM should be favored tomorrow. Both will likely bring back their Game 1 starters on short rest. Who knows how that will go.

USM has the pitching advantage for Monday. If they can keep their bats hot, they'll win.
