God I hate agreeing with an aggie, but you're right...you can't have it both ways...do you like seeing kapernick kneel? Rainbow crap on uniforms? Raised fists? Let's just let sports be sports and have something we can all come together to enjoy.

It's for sure corporate backed, but it's made it's way onto the fields....I don't want either side making politics part of the game.

And for some reason, only a problem when people have the "wrong" opinions.
When they have the "right" opinions, such as kneeling during the national anthem, they get sponsored by Nike and they do an ad campaign about it.

Yeah I know....but sports used to be the unifier, now it's like everything else and it's slowly becoming a divider..it's a shame.

I think people just use to be able to deal with each other better because they didn't spend all their time with their faces in their phone reading and listening to echo chambers and the discussions about politics and religion were generally pretty civil.
