I think he's just an intense competitor that completely immerses himself in the game. Maybe jawing a little is just part of his routine. If Miles thinks it's a problem, I'm sure he'll do what is needed.

What was obvious to me was WVU was not use to the prime time game. There was trash talking on both sides along with a lot of late shoving going on. WV receivers were going out of there way after making a play to taunt LSU player. No doubt, LSU players did the same. Did you see all the ice being thrown at LSU players by the low class crowd? I expected a brawl to breakout at anytime. Luckily, it didn't.

Alright Mr Semantics. After the wrap up. It was flagrant and unnecessary, just like what Adams did last night. Fairley just did it multiple times a game without his coaching staff or the SEC doing anything of consequence. And just so you know, I am a long suffering Lions fan, and I still can't stand the guy and don't cheer for him. He'll find out the NFL does things a lot differently when you hit QBs late.
As for the warnings, it was reported, but take it how you want it. I also believe Fairley was specifically talked about on a couple of SEC weekly conference calls.
As for this whole argument, please feel free to point out any instances of dirty PLAY from TM. You mentioned Adams single screw up, but please enlighten us on the main subject of your rant and how LSU is now just as bad as AU last season. Feel free to make excuses for Fairley like all of the AU fans on here last year, as well. We'll all be waiting.

My initial reaction after watching the Adams hit on Smith was that it looked to me like the Ref right behind the QB reacted late and didn't have his whistle ready. I could be wrong bc I haven't re-looked at the play since last night when it was live.
