Looks like that defense is just hanging on to a top 25 Total Defense ranking now…ouch…weren’t you guys ballyhooing about being #1 just two days ago?

What happened?

Pittman can put together an offensive line. Best position coach Georgia's ever had, imho.

Is Matt Luke still in Athens? How’s he doing?

It was funny how they claimed that their pressure on Jefferson would make him fold...he went on to put 262 yards on them in 2 1/2 quarters...lol.

Well at least they were right about their pass defense not allowing any 20 yard completions..

They kept talking about an Antonio. They even said that whatever the hell an Antonio is would shut down Treylon Burks 1 vs 1. I didn’t know what an Antonio is before the game and I still don’t, but Burks had 167 and a TD

Member when they tried to explain that the reason their players weren't towards the top of the tackles list was because the whole defense tackles well and shares the tackles....lol...I member

Game on the line, you need a stop. 2nd and 9. Everybody in the world knows you're gonna keep it on the ground. What do you do?

The truth is A&M was not up to their preseason ranking, and I don't say that to knock the Aggies. They were a paper tiger coming into the season. It has happened to Arkansas and every other team out there over the years.

The big Aggie victory is a razor thin win over Colorado... who then got obliterated by Minnesota 30-0. Minnesota then turned around and lost to perennial Bottom 10 powerhouse Bowling Green. Oh uh.

Take away a missed assignment and blown tackle on the big run and A&M probably has their worst offensive game in ages. Defensively they bought into the notion of going all out to shut down the run... and got burned deep. KJ is not the second coming of Peyton Manning but his resume so far has shown he's perfectly capable of lighting folks up in the air if they give him the chance.

The pieces to the puzzle might be there, but a lot of them haven't grown into their roles yet for A&M. Of deeper concern is that Jimbo Fisher made exactly zero adjustments in the game. He stubbornly kept his QB, who was not having a good day, throwing into an 8 man coverage where the Hogs were just sitting back, looking at the QB and getting ready to pounce.

I couldn’t tell as good from the game since I couldn’t rewind, but did aTm have someone that could cover Burks?

I know he wasn’t a concern…

Every Aggie I know was already making plans for Atlanta. Oh, how the mediocre have fallen.

Your first mistake was assuming aggy operates in reality. They don’t. They never have and they never will.
