I wish more of your fellow ags would act like this. They just need to calm down. How long have you been in the sec? You do know iron sharpens iron right. You have been through the sec gauntlet. Aggies are not the same little kids they were before they got here. The sec big boys won't let ANYBODY come in here and act stupid. Especially Texas.

As much as I’d like to laugh at you guys, I do feel for you.
Texas looks like the b*tch here though by tucking tail after destroying the conference and trying to come here. I wish only OU was coming over but looks like they’re a package deal.
No doubt Aggie put in the work and are light years ahead of them with a fancy stadium, new albeit overpaid coach and a rabid fan base that has something to be excited about

The side of it y’all can’t see is the entire time we have been in the SEC the local Texas fans have ran their mouth about how overrated the league was, how crooked it was, and how they never would stoop so low to join like we did. We of course defended the SEC, which brought accusations (that were somewhat true) that we were riding the SEC’s coattails. USC fans can understand that maybe but I don’t think anyone else in the SEC can. They hated the SEC (or really it’s success) and Aggies and we got both sides of it.
I am not saying that to justify any meltdowns on here this week, our walls came down. I have seen some today that could have been nominated to the end of the year awards and win in a few different years. But Aggies really grew to love the SEC and we are having trouble forgetting all those years of shite talk like everyone else. It’s human nature to hold a grudge when it’s obviously a double standard and the other side doesn’t get called out for their mistakes. The Jan Brady comparison is apt.

I appreciate the words of encouragement. You do the Rant game very well BTW. Some people only understand part of the cadence here, but your tone is perfect. You can sneak into threads and destroy people with fewer words than this compliment yet you are mostly in good dude mode. Thank you for your posts, I have enjoyed them.

But to your point, no offense but you are missing the point.
You are right y’all are going to have a field day going after stupid tshirt Longhorn fans, and I am sure eventually the SEC media will write articles to that effect and talk about it on ESPN. But that actually makes it worse for Aggies, as it’s evidence of our greatest fear deep down: that we are about to lose much of the attention we get in the SEC as the proud Texas team.
