Ok the guard is coming down so dunk on me if you must, but I have to say something:
As an Aggie fan the last couple of days haven’t been great, and posting on this forum when emotions were raw probably wasn’t a good idea for any of us. But I am glad y'all enjoyed it. And I am glad I did it, glad I took the lumps with some other brave and or melting Aggies. I got more out of it than I expected I would.
Within all that melting and laughing at our pain I saw something very touching. I saw some of y’all support our point of view, even if you wanted a different outcome. I saw some of y’all trying to coach us to have some dignity even if it didn’t work. I saw some of y’all outright say you have enjoyed A&M being in the conference no matter who else comes in.
This supportive conference culture is the best part of the SEC and the part I have appreciated the most about this forum. As someone who has spent a lot of time on here it’s been great getting to know many of y’all as fans, and thank you extra those of you trying to pick us up off the floor the last couple days even if some of it was via tough love.
Post in this thread and I will tell you why I personally appreciate you if I can.

I know I like to give Aggies a hard time but I already know when the Texas posters are on here at full force, they will be a big pain in the arse on steroids. Best thing for the Aggies to do is stand up to big brother and punch them in the mouth and kick their arse in recruiting and on the field. That will kill them every year having to hear y’all talk shite to them.

I appreciate how you have been calling it straight the whole time without taking the obvious shots when you can. That sort of impartial educated fandom seems almost dead outside the SEC. Thank you.

When I was growing up I got tired of my my big brother beating my arse. Eventfully, I started fighting back. One day I finally beat his arse real good and then and only then did he leave me alone.
