Yea well other things were said as well but I'd rather not get banned for posting them. Emory and Agnes Scott...hate them both.

I feel like being the "best" school in Arkansas should be considered an insult.
Not as insulting as being considered an Aggie.

Funny thing I noticed. Most of the people who disagree with you's schools aren't listed.

Weird coincidence.

For someone who went to Vanderbilt, you sure are stupid.

But you know what I mean?

It's like a pseudo designation. It's saying something is "best" because it sucks least. I think Arkansas fans recognize this and believe it's patronizing. I agree.

Oh come on. You can do better.

Hell, he probably held back too. He may as well have thrown in Lamar, UT-Juarez, and South Plains College in that list as well.

What's the consensus definition of flagship? School bearing the name of the state? Most students? Biggest endowment? Most research? Oldest publicly chartered? Any three of those?

Clemson is objectively above USCe, as is Auburn above Bama.

It makes sense about TAMU because there is a bit of controversy there. While UTA is clearly #1, TAMU should be the second best public. While they're way behind Rice, SMU, Baylor, and TCU, they probably would edge out UTD and North Texas.

Because SC fans don't care about stupid stuff like this. We're the state school, in the state capital, have satellite schools all over the state, have a bigger student body and alumni base.

Eta: the US college news ranking actually has Miami has the highest ranked school in FL but does above really consider them the flagship school?

Hell there is an old photo from 2002 or so where ESPN labeled clemson as apart of NC and just this past week no one on jeopardy no one could answer the one where Clemson was an easy answer. Clemson is irrelevant outside of the region.

Again, I need more effort here. This is too lazy.

I understand why Texas people and aTm people hate each other now. You're both utterly convinced of your obvious supremacy over the other.

I had Texas Tech on there, but then everyone would have known and I wouldn't have gotten anything.
