Coach O is 2-0 against A&M.

When O beats Jimbo, the board is going to be unbelievable.

I can’t wait.

Call me when Texas and/or a&m does anything of any significance.

Both programs have had the opportunity to get all the talent they want.

Did they not want it?

If ands and butts were candy and nuts, Jimbo would have been more than a mediocre coach in a mediocre conference prior to his new station. He may make some noise, but I suspect it will be more of a Bronx cheer than anything else.

Of course A&M being good/great would not be ideal for LSU.

That said, we are a little pre-occupied and concerned about what’s going on within our own four walls right now than A&M. We’re all on the edge of our seats waiting to see how this Orgeron “experiment” works out.

So are we keeping an eye on what happens with Jimbo at A&M? Sure, absolutely. But most LSU fans are more concerned with this Orgeron timeline and if/when it comes to an end.

I think the LSU-A&M rivalry will heat up as years go by and be great down the road, but honestly LSU fans still see Bama/Saban as the main enemy/Target right now.

Mediocre? He’s clearly a high end coach. Almost a decade of results show that. More than a decade when you include his time as a coordinator. The only people that can’t see it are biased.

ATM could be better with Jimbo, but I think that he will will fail to win the SEC West or beat LSU consitantly which will disappoint the ATM faithful.

Many LSU posters on here won't admit it, If A&M manages to put it together they are trouble. Kirby / Saban and Jimbo will be in their backyards with proven products if Jimbo rights the ship.

Y'all just keep claiming those offseason trophies. You can have them. In reality, the streak isn't going to go on forever whether Jimbo is there or whether they let RC Slocum come back. Eventually it'll happen, like State gets theirs every decade or so. Jimbo just went 4-7 because 1 player got hurt. In a state with plenty of talent and recent hardware to recruit on. So, good luck. I'm glad A&M paid him and not LSU.

At A&M he is at the second best school in the state. Not saying that to disparage A&M, but Texas will always squat on top of the pile if they have a coach worth a darn.

TCU is a better program than A&M currently.

Sure.
Why wouldn’t we admit that?
