Has anyone seen the ticket prices for Texas vs Texas A&M? The prices are bordering on completely ridiculous, and here I am thinking about getting two now before they get really crazy.

What is the highest price you have ever seen for tickets in a regular season game?

You should look at the Auburn vs Kentucky basketball game in February. Get-in price for a pair of tickets will cost you $548/seat.

A&M hasn't even sent out football ticket renewals, yet. I'm sure prices will be sky high, but complaining about ticket prices before the first ticket has even been sold might be a little bit premature.

It will come down a little but starting from a high number for sure. $716 a ticket not including fees for 300 section lol. Football generally better to watch on tv or at the bar anyway.

I’m not complaining at all.. I knew they would be high, and i’m definitely going to be there, just trying to figure out when the best time to buy..

Should I expect to pay $750+ each with fees? Will the price just keep going up unless one team sucks? If the playoffs are on the line.. can you imagine?

Tickets are being sold. Not sure how that works since tickets haven’t gone out yet..

It’s all a gamble getting some this far out. Since it’s renewing the rivalry, there’s going to be decent demand no matter what. But if A&M is stumbling to a mediocre finish (7 or 8 wins) you will probably be able to get cheaper tickets down the road. However if we are looking at 10+ wins for us and similar for y’all, $400 now will look like a steal, I’d hate to see how expensive those will be.

Regardless of the ticket prices I am looking forward to the Aggies being our last game of the season once again. Rivalry game, possible trip to the CCG on the line...perfect.

A lot of people are excited to see this series resume. I'd consider going myself if tickets were reasonable.

Demand will be lower in future years, I'm sure.

Even during the SWC and Big12 days, regardless of team records, this was ALWAYS a big game and I don't recall a time in my football watching days it was not sold out.

yeah there aren’t any for less than $500 but I agree.. the hype is gonna keep building until games are played.. both teams have pretty favorable schedules though..

Price nothing outlandish. Tix to 2013 Bama game for nosebleeds were $500 each.

I believe Justin Tucker will be getting a 13th year eligibility to play in this game!

You could probably wait and get them a little cheaper after A&M loses a few games.

I’ve actually heard around $1000/ticket won’t be unheard of, which absolutely doesn’t surprise me for this first game of the series revival.

Depending on where both teams are sitting in November, that might not be too far off the mark. A&M also has the home opener against Notre Dame. Cha-Ching.

600-700 bucks a ticket is insanity. Holy hell!

Will the winning team still get to go to the “Chicken Ranch?”

And, if so, would either of these teams want to go?
