When did Washington and Alabama become rivals?

So dirty pool is fine, as long the schools aren't rivals?

quote:

It is plainly obvious that Texas was interviewing TAMU's coach during the world series.

I mean, that's your opinion. Kendall Rogers said the deal was already done by then.

quote:

It is plainly obvious this did not happen with Alabama and Kalen DeBoer.

I'm not so sure. Alabama got upset in a game most thought they'd win.

quote:

The baseball transfer portal is still currently open, which hurts TAMU as they currently have no coach. Saban retired and DeBoer was hired after the transfer window had already closed.

The portal opens for a team any time a coach leaves, thus the portal opened for both Alabama and Washington.

What's the difference?

quote:

I'm sure there are other glaringly obvious differences between the two, but just like your comparison to Saban leaving Miami to go to Bama, I'm sure you won't notice.

Semantics.

Not even the biggest “clown on A&M” story of the year. Us paying Jimbo that buyout was a bigger deal

Sports story of the year?

Hyperbole.

Hate to tell you but most sports fans don’t (regardless of how much ESPN fills your head with it) give a shite about college baseball.

My small group at my local coffee shop couldn’t name a single player.

Should I inject some facts in here? I mean facts anyone can research themselves...not that it will matter to those stuck with their narrative.

1. David Pierce was not fired on Monday, that happened before

2. Texas AD didn't make any comment about it until others in the media already put it out there.

This reeks of aggy accusing us (and to a lesser degree OU) of leaking we were going to the SEC more than 3 years earlier than originally planned so we could use it for recruiting. The fact is it was AGGY who leaked it to their favorite mouthpiece at the Houston Chronicle ahead of the SEC media days in some vain attempt to blow it all up. That worked well, lulz.

Don’t forget to kick out the high school players/recruits from Texas since this is a Texas thing. Then see how good the SEC really is against a conference with Texas schools and athletes.

The group of people I hang out with can’t name a single men’s college basketball player. But all know who Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are.

And it’s a fact that both Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are more well known by people around the country than any men’s college basketball player.

So obviously women’s college basketball > men’s college basketball.

Nice spin. A&M risked sabotaging their chances at a national championship by creating more distractions. It’s pathetic that you even try.
