They should be in. Is there any scenario where they’re in? I have a hard time seeing how it could happen.

Only way is committee uses same logic I’m using. Eye test . But they won’t.

Did not Texas wax your arse? Oh, and you are welcome for all the fumbles and interceptions last month

They got lucky and got to play us with an injured QB who didn’t get to practice a single snap the two weeks before that game. And they’re welcome for the interceptions during that game as a result.

The interceptions in the OU/Bama game though? Well, Bama just got worked. Their QB hasn’t missed a snap of practice or been injured all year. Still got picked and punked all night.

1. ND lost to NIU last year
2. Clemson made the playoffs with 3 losses last year, granted they lost first round, to us.

I didn’t know your QB was injured? He was medically cleared to play. Why would you start an injured QB? Wow, that’s foolish.

Yea, I’m like the committee, I make it up.

Didn’t he kick your arse Aggie?

*the tsip rule

The CFP will contort themselves like a pretzel to make this happen.

In covid shortened 2020 the Ags were screwed out of a playoff spot to make room for a "blue blood".

I say fukem.

Yep! He’s still injured!

… and still is only the second QB to throw for over 300 yards against that LSU defense. And won the game.
Hats off to the young man!

Maybe the playoff committee should take that into account like they did with FSU and keep OU out considering the circumstances of his ability’s (or lack there of).

the 3 point lead with 6 minutes left in the game!

Reminds me of the 09 national champion game where it was a 3 point game with 3 minutes to go.

We definitely played Bama closer than Aggie played us. If only Colt hadn't got hurt right?

Colt won us that championship and we should claim it!

You don’t want to see us in the playoffs sooner. Instead of doubling our overall yards we will triple it and Ty has assured me he won’t get punked again.

And yet, you will never hear us say "it doesn't count."

Aggies and dirt pirates, sore losers. 2 such cases. Sad!

As far as OP, if we are talking about the 12 teams most likely to advance in playoff games, Texas should be there. With autobids I don't think it's possible without screwing someone. The schedule strength of some of these teams is comically bad.

He’s so good, even injured with one hand tied behind his back, he can even beat their favorite child, Alabama, if he just gets to practice.

That’s the only reason Texas escaped. No practice leading up to that game.

Personally, I think he should have just used his left hand and scored 50 on Texas.

You think Aggie'll let us borrow the fridge magnets they used on their stadium?

A 3 loss SEC team is usually one of the best 12 teams in the country and should be in over one loss Big 12, ACC or Group of 5 teams. You can’t tell me BYU and Texas Tech were challenged every week like SEC teams. The problem is the auto bids and Notre Dame, who can schedule how they see fit to make the playoffs every year.
