Lol look at the history.
a&m goes to the SEC and gets a Heisman so we run off mack
Texas hires Herman and starts recruiting well they fire sumlin the next season.
Texas gets to the playoffs and comes to the SEC so they fire Jimbo.
The cycle will repeat indefinitely for the next millennia

And that's the issue. He won't give Milwee or anyone else a chance. So the problems will only continue. That's the problem with bringing him back.
And you don't fire him because your rival has had one great season so far. We didn't do that when stoops was kicking Mack's arse all over Dallas. You fire him because you see the program falling apart and he cannot fix it.

He's just doing it to change the subject here. The Shorthorns lost badly and the team and their vaunted Heisman QB looked like garbage. Three times in less than a year they've lost to Georgia and have no clue how to fix their game.
Here's Texas football after Saturday night.

So Sark is gone at the end of the year regardless? What if he wins out and gets a playoff spot?

I'm hearing some things starting to surface. It sounds like this may be happening way sooner than a lot would expect.
Will see how texas admin plays it.
Edit: I'm going to go out on a limb and guess a loss to arky or aggie seals the deal pretty quickly.

In fairness. They only lost to us 3 times in 13 months.

Wel... the obvious conclusion from that is, OU isn't your rival...

So insider, tell us what things.

100%. Texas and Texas A&M are obsessed with outdoing each other, to the detriment of both of us. Texas Tech might be the first to win a CFP

If there's any justice in the universe, almighty God above will allow this to happen.

I really hope we are bracketed in such a way we get to play TTU.

LOL, hilariously true. And both sides deserve that kind of poetic justice.

I definitely wouldn't consider it inside at this point.
But more of the same that came up earlier in this thread about sark surfacing within various texas circles in different ways.
Either a smeer campaign in progress or there's truly some serious issues to deal with. Either way, it sounds like moves are coming soon.

...an elephant in the room right now is the expected cost of the group and how the hell it can possibly exist in its current form after everything that was just learned with the No. 1-ranked 2025 recruiting class and its lack of immediate return on investment in the 2025 season. I know this ... Texas isn't going to spend another damn dime on a recruit in this class...
I don't know this guy or his legitimacy regarding the other stuff, but I do think this is the future for most every program.
Once the newness wears off, this level of NIL just can't be sustainable.
People are just simply not going to drop millions on high school kids ad infinitum without some definitive measure of return.

This clip by Howard is poor journalism. I realize it’s a post on Instagram of him in his shades, but journalistic standards follow to different platforms…even his personal accounts.

I just ran this whole thread through an AI-powered synopsis generator tool and the result was this:
Stupid Texas/Texas A&M banter that means less than nothing to everyone.
Then, naturally, I inquired how something could be quantified as less than nothing. It referred me back to the Texas/Texas A&M rivalry for reference.
It's a loop that can't be unlooped.

There are levels to what you can and can't say and obviously someone dying is seriously crossing a line but….it is interesting to call menu out (rightfully so) while calling Texas Utrans in the same post.
