If I remember what I looked up about the history of Texas burnt orange. 1900 they wore gold and white. Then the regions of the university changed the colors to orange and white. The uniform started fading and their rival started calling them yellow bellies. So this is when they went with the burnt orange..

Texas has the best color orange and it's not even close. The fact that some even think it's debatable is funny. Tennessee is a dark yellow shade of orange and it just doesn't look good. Facts.

Tennessee's is throw up orange. It's puke inside pumpkin orange.
