Who cares what it looks like. Hire a great hungry yoing coach.

Who is this “great, hungry young coach” who apparently has no other options to choose from in a coaching cycle with about a dozen jobs available???

If you fail to show up for work, you will be fired 'for cause'. BK may have physically been there, but from the reports, he may as well not even showed up.

Some of yall are Michael Scott declaring bankruptcy. I DECLARE BANKRUPTCY!!!!!

That’s not how it works Michael.

Landry did what many on here wanted

I don’t remember anyone on this board who wanted LSU’s athletic program and reputation laid to waste? Did I miss something?

Does that make you a Jeff Landry Camper? Or a camp counselor? Does king Cajun lead you out into the swamp at night for special “lessons”?

Sometimes I wonder if most of the posters here are even capable of tying their own shoes.

Velcro. Lots and lots of Velcro around here.
Because LSU is being run by a bunch of circus performers and the Cajun Clown is the ringleader.
LSU is going to frick around and end up having to pay him full freight all at once. His lawyer is going to go in front of a judge and pretty easily prove he was in fact fired. Then he’s going to show video of King Cajuns press conference. Then he’s going to petition the judge to force LSU to put the entire $52 million into escrow because he and Kelly do not have faith that they will see the payments out over 6 years and LSU has demonstrated a lack of trustworthiness
Some of yall are dead set on embarrassing us in front of all of our SEC neighbors

Then practically take the taxpayer burden out of the technical contract.

So you want the State Legislature to to pass a bill that severs any and all connections between LSU Athletics and Louisiana State University?

“why are the contracts stating that the taxpayers on the look for it, if the donor does not want to pay for

The language almost certainly makes no reference to donors being unwilling to pay. The language almost certainly refers to recourse for the Payee should the athletic department/TAF be UNABLE to pay.

As in, if the athletic department collapsed tomorrow. Which isn’t a thing that’s even slightly likely. Or wasn’t until King Coonass started getting involved.

We literally have a committee who likely includes Saban choosing

The reality some of yall live in…
Who knew the solution to all our problems had been with us the entire time!!

Even if Landry wanted to assist , Why not just stay in the background ,

Because he is a retard and a narcissist. He’s not interested in assisting LSU. He’s interested in getting his face in front of as many cameras as possible.

With no leadership currently in place, The Creole King saw his chance to get attention and he took it.

No Landry at the table

Thank god for small miracles!

but I'm old enough to remember that very few people knew who Nick Saban was before LSU hired him.

Perhaps you will remember then that LSU had to make Saban one of the highest paid college coaches of all time to get him here??

If we somehow get William Wade back to BR out of all this I’d be hard for me not to vote for Landry. Not gonna lie

Well let me reassure you that’s not going to happen then. Will Wade is the brand new coach at NC State. He’s not coming back to LSU.

I can promise you no matter how many votes he gets, it will be at least one vote to many.

I imagine he'll do press conferences or interviews

You can rest assured, if there are cameras around, Jeff Landry is going to find a way to get in front of them.
You think the BoS is going to sign Lane Kiffin(represented by Jimmy Sexton) to a $140 million dollar contract after the Gov. spent the last week screaming about how much money we spend and the evil agents we talk to?
I always thought it had something to do with the whole Odell handing out wads of cash thing. Sort of a blanket ban to avoid any more chances of illegal contact.

But since the NCAA basically crumbled into dust a year after that I’m not sure why he felt the need to continue it.
