Hogs had 117 yards in penalties and gave Rice six first downs on penalties.
Really terrible for a team with lots of returning starters. Texas should be at least a touchdown fav.

You are going to see a completely different Arkansas team next weekend. You aren’t going to see as much rpo it will be much more designed qb runs and zone reads mixed in with bombs to burks with the occasional screen. Briles tried to save a lot last week and got cute, it’s the only reason we were trailing at half

Texas 10-15 on third down. Didn’t watch game. Stats show lots of 5+ yard conversions. Was play calling that good or Louisiana D that bad? Trying to handicap this game bc that line is suspicious.

I still like Arkansas chances. Awful first half against Rice. 2 years ago they would have quit in the 2nd Q. Our defense looks above average and that crowd has been waiting for this game. Not a good recipe for a Freshman QB.

Rewatching now and he showed nothing yesterday. He got cute trying to use an actual game to work on all the things KJ sucks at. Not to mention we got a bill 50 in penalties and for 7/8ths of the game we were down 3 defensive starters.
Don't bother telling the cow frickers that though. They are puffing their chest out about beating a sunbelt team.

Sark called a solid game. Unless Arky can run on Texas & shut down the Horns running game this line is well off the mark.
