Those 8 are pretty much always included on any list of college football blue bloods. That’s public opinion. Not my list, not my opinion. If that upsets you, that’s on you.

What is the definition of Blueblood? Wins? Titles? Brand recognition? Fanbase? Weighted system of all?

Everyone defines bluebood differently

So I attempted to answer this question and ran some of the numbers myself.. I used Winsipedia for the categories and ranked the top 25 teams in each category. Here are the results, sorted by lowest average.

You can argue the categories that should or should not be included, but the answer to the question is something like this.. I did find it very interesting that all 8 teams I listed as public opinion "blue bloods" are ranked in the top 8 for most weeks in the AP Poll.

Texas has a better argument than Georgia and you essentially started this thread unprovoked. Your insecurity is showing.

I'm still trying to figure out what the hell Georgia has to do with anything here

Claiming your program is a 'blueblood' program is about the dumbest most meaningless title in college sports. Do you think when we won the NC in 2021 and 2022 that one single UGA fan stopped the celebrating and said, "Gee, this is great, but we're NOT a blueblood program!"

Op speaks the truth, media slobbers all over them, but watch media tears when texass is getting beat up next season.

But espin accomplished their mission and stopped losing a lot of money on the stronghorn netwrk.

Vince’s knee was down so they’d have zero if replay existed a few years earlier.

Who gives a frick about Blue Bloods? The face of,College football is changing. This is no longer your Grandpa’s era of football. With the new playoff it will be tough as hell to win consistent NCs

The fact that Nebraska and Notre Dame are even still considered blue bloods just makes the term so stupid. Have not done shite. It’s just a title they “decided on”

No blue bell belongs to A&M.

One of the staples of being a Texan. Don’t associate Blue Bell with the liberal douches in Austin.
