Is this the same fanbase that had a temper tantrum during a game and threw trash all over the field?

and still lost the game.

Of course they like money Texas brings to the table but are you under the impression that Texas has made the SEC an elite conference? It’s been the best conference in the nation for 20 years. Eyeballs and positivity? Are you joking?

There was already a thread on this explaining its an average and you are not penalized for sports you do not compete it. Texas doesn't have softball but we are not penalized for it in this ranking.

Also you are either uniformed (I doubt it) or you just throw shite out there as the vast majority of SEC schools compete in nearly all of these sports. Tell yourself whatever makes you feel better though as your athletic department looks up to Texas again

How about we say it another way.

We win at a much greater clip than the rest of the SEC and that includes football thus far. NO SEC championship to show for it but its year 1. If b year 5 we have shite to show for it will be pretty disappointed but unless every SEC school drops every sport but Football, basketball, and baseball (which they wont) your team competes and tries and you get beat by Texas

Thats rich coming from an Ole Miss fan.

Has Ole miss ever been in the SEC title game in Atlanta? Have you ever even won the West? Since 92 when the SEC had a title I believe you haven't made it so I would reserve talking shite when we accomplished more in year 1 than you ever have in football int he SEC.....

Then drop the other sports and stop competing in them.

What a loser mentality. Just because you don't watch the sports doesn't mean you school doesn't try to win at them (which they do).

I'm not the one claiming something stupid like an All-Sports trophy.

Terribly actually, still enough to beat you 2 out of 3 with one of our worst seasons in decades, enough to fire our coach.

Ours didn't leave for greener pastures (seems to be a trend in College Station) we went out and leveled up.

Or how about we say it yet another way so you newbs understand….

The only thing that matters in this conference is championships!!

Hope this helps!

Yet you say we should call it the Football only trophy as thats all that matters.

I just pointed out the fact Texas made the SEC title game something Ole Miss has never done since its inception in 1992.

Not going to apologize for being proud of Texas athletic departments achievement on the whole and how it stacks up against the rest of the conference.

Cool we have plenty in many SEC sports.

I think what you meant was "you only care about football championships"

If thats the case no wonder y'all have been sucking Georgia /Bama off every year but one since 2014

So, because a team I root for hasn't done something specific, I should not point out that Texas is the bitch that it is?

You, quite literally, played the weakest SEC schedule in the history of the conference.

Congrats on losing to the same team twice; once with a freshman stand-in at QB and one that Ole Miss ran out of the building. Take a seat in the corner.

No, the reason Texas joined the SEC (from the Big 12) was because the SEC was an a long established elite sports conference and the new SEC association would be great for our sports marketing, sports income, and sports recruiting…

aggie with its cringe milkmen videos all over the Internet and little sports success, has been an SEC embarrassment and has likely not met Sankey’s expectations.

But in contrast, Texas has very likely met or exceeded Sankey’s SEC expectations in its first SEC year. I’m seeing now Texas winning the SEC All-Sports Trophy in its first SEC year is getting good play in the national sports press.

Texas as a new member is providing new marquee SEC football matchups … Texas vs. Georgia, Texas vs. Arkansas, and next year Texas vs. OSU are big name national games. So Sankey is logically going to want Texas, and its beloved Bevo, to remain happy…

Yes, Texas did in one year what Ole miss failed to do in 32 years+

That's a fact you can cry about schedules all you want to make yourself feel better about Texas being undeserving, not a good team, etc but the above fact remains. Congrats on losing to Kentucky and Florida two teams we both played and Texas won against. Looks like its 2-1 on common opponents and while you were sitting at home for the post season Texas was again playing.
