And guess what? The non-guaranteed contract signed by an undrafted free agent is contingent upon them making the roster. Once they're waived that contract goes poof.

I said they rostered a player paid by an NFL organization.
You are the one trying to get into minutiae to justify it.

Paid or not, it doesn't matter. He entered the draft and participated in minicamp with 2 different teams. It's the exact same thing we are talking about with the LSU players.

It’s a stupid loophole where seniors / players out of eligibility don’t have to declare for the draft and are automatically entered into the draft pool.

Players out of eligibility don’t declare for the draft and cannot withdraw their names from the draft pool.
Had Chambliss’s court decision come after the NFL Draft, he technically would have been in the draft pool and able to be drafted because he was out of eligibility until the court ruling came.
5 for 5 players are being punished because they thought they were out of eligibility at the time and continued with their football lives, instead of sitting on their hands waiting for a court decision.

The NCAA and the others in authority in the NCAA/conferences fricked this up royaly and need a scapegoat just like we've been saying. Everyone is just falling for it and acting like this is an LSU problem when its an NCAA and college football problem.

Because LSU fans can't grasp the difference between declaring for the draft and being entered in it or signing a deal and being invited to a 3 day mini camp.

SEC should have defined what a professional contract is, they did not.
The league can’t arbitrarily argue intent (successfully) after the fact. Legally it’s a professional contract.
