I really don't know. There's no one that screams obvious upgrade, outside of established killers, who aren't leaving their current schools. More likely we wait another year to give Sark a chance/lower his buyout/see how the current hot names like Chesney and Stein fare with larger sample sizes.

They won't can him, but he will probably be forced to fire some assistant coaches on the offense/ special teams and hire a real OC. The pressure will turn up a few notches and his seat will get really warm.
The question is could his ego handle having to hire an OC and having to give up some control of the offense playcalling decisions?

I agree with you. I think UT is more likely to see the Ole Miss Gator team than the Mizzou/South Carolina Gator team on Saturday. If the Ole Miss Gator team shows up they will win by 2 TDs. Texas is way overrated.

That was sort of my point. The devil you know is better than the devil you don't know. If there isn't a target you want or feel good about better to wait another year than to just get rid of him ASAP and be in the same spot in a year or two and have to buyout another staff.
