I lived for 9 years in Texas, 27 years in Georgia, and now in Baton Rouge. Give me BR in every way.
I always say this about Texas: it would be a great place but for all the Texans there! :-)

Actually, that's a good point. You have a vastly over inflated sense of worth in football. No one really talks up basketball, and baseball is typically as advertised.

Every state in the South is great. We all bring something to unique to the table.
We are also a Band of Brothers. We are going to in fight and shite talk each other to death. But when outsiders attack we come together.
This is what the people that bitch and moan about the SEC chants just don't understand. And it's something Texans seem loathe to grasp. You can keep your individuality while also being part of the group.
