Yeah, interesting that stadium atmospheres and crowd numbers have been in decline recently yet the prices continue to keep going up... Supply/demand laws are being altered

Hell I make just under 6 figures and can't justify the absurd prices for decent seats.

I would call this the most douchey post of the week but then Douchey McDoucherson might pop in to let us know that this is actually lower middle class.

Think about it like this. This is the only decent home game they’ve had besides Notre Dame (4 years ago?). Other than that it’s been Tech, TCU, Okie St, & West Virginia. Of course they’re going all out for it. Who knows when they’ll play a decent opponent at home again?

After LSU, West Virginia and OU demolish them you will be able to purchase a package of remaining games (Kansas. TCU, K State, Iowa State, Baylor and T Tech) for less than $50

There will be more people in the library on game days.

I'm sure outside fanbases learned long ago not to trust anything Aggy says when it comes to Texas. Especially when it comes to recruiting.

I think sites like StubHub et al are the reason you see overall decline in stadium attendance, while at the same time, a spike in prices for big games.

A fair number of fans no longer feel the need to purchase season tickets. Instead, they choose to go to games a la carte, naturally choosing to attend the BIG games against big time opponents. This drives up the prices for the good games.

That's ticket sold with GROUPON and what not. You ever see what their stands looks like on a Saturday?

You aren't wrong about this. Their home games outside of LSU are all easy wins.

I know you're new around here, but there's no way they can read all those words.

quote:

Dear Cow People (Texas fans),

Sorry, but Texas just didn't provide any motivation for UGA at all. I mean, why? Texas hasn't done anything since your miracle Houdini act with 19 seconds to go to upset USC for the national title. Texas hasn't done anything, gone anywhere, I mean...there just wasn't anything to gain for UGA in beating you bovines -- except maybe a few T-bones to throw on the grill, but there was way too much fat around the head involved.

Sorry, but you Cows just don't get the competition fired up very much -- except maybe the fast willys north of the Red River. But, I think they're getting sorta tired of getting motivated to play you Cows, too, noting how they lost to you back in October. Maybe, that's why they might consider leaving the Big 12 and coming to the BIG BOYS CONFERENCE, the SEC. Or, even to the Big 10, like Nebraska did (they're not doing too well, but they're sure glad they don't have to deal with you Outhouse Folks, social wise). The SEC just has so much more to offer, much better competition, the crème del a crème of football culture.

The whole country knows why Texas has been avoiding the SEC in the past because you all knew if you joined the SEC----you'd never win it.

Naw, Texas just doesn't really do much for teams in the SEC. You just don't have much to offer us...we have Texas A&M now, and they provide everything you have plus more.

So, Cows...better stick with your Baylors, TCU's, Texas Tech's...they're more your kind.

The SEC just has so much more to offer, much better competition. The SEC not only means much more---WE ARE MORE!

Thanks for visiting, though.

Your's truly,
ALABAMA...ARKANSAS...AUBURN...FLORIDA...GEORGIA...KENTUCKY...LSU...OLE MISS...MISSISSIPPI STATE...MISSOURI...SOUTH CAROLINA...TENNESSEE...TEXAS A&M...VANDERBILT

You left out Lsu.

We get Bama/Auburn/MSU/South Carolina odd years then Lsu/Ole Miss/East Rotation even years.

We have Clemson, Colorado, Miami, Notre Dame, & Arizona St line up for OOC.

It usually plays out fine.
