Any real smoke to Sark getting canned?
Who would they go after? If they went and got Stein, I’d be pissed as an LSU fan.

lol Stein wouldn’t be able to come back to his home state if he did that.

Implying he’ll never leave? Highly doubt that, he’ll be on everyone’s hot board after this season.

If he leaves, he leaves for a raise. You can’t guilt him to stay for less money bc he was born there.

Salary will never be an issue here. Stoops was a top ten paid head coach for 4 and 5 win seasons.

That doesn’t mean he leaves.

You are the worst new addition to secRant there's been in years. There are lots of dummies who post, but at least some of them are good for a chuckle.
"I've never been outside of my county, but golly gee I hear this and that stadium is amazing, I'd love to go some day! I can't imagine about those winds in Lubbock!"

I visited Ann Arbor, East Lansing, South Bend, Bloomington, West Lafayette, Buffalo, Louisville, Lexington, Columbus (OH), and Cincy just this summer. I just got back from Ruston, Monroe, and Grambling. I have been to Tallahassee, Athens, Auburn, Tuscaloosa, Hattiesburg, Oxford, Starkville, Columbia (SC), Clemson, Nashville, and Knoxville as well. I’ve been to different campuses. And since you can’t do anything but sling insults instead of have a genuine conversation, I will double down on what I said. A coach that’s any count would leave Baton Rouge without finishing packing if the Texas job opened up. They could probably triple what y’all pay and not miss a beat. They would have EVERYTHING at their disposal. And no, I’m not trying to make people laugh. That’s not why I joined this forum.

What’s the point? You said I hadn’t been out of my county. I never said anything about you

Holy crap that went over your head. I actually feel bad now picking on a kid from the short bus. Apologies

I didn’t click on anything. Feel I know what you’re referring to but I don’t click on links

Bob Chesney or Stein would be my initial guess. But who knows. If Texas loses 2 more games and especially if one of them is A&M, I believe he is gone.

We will just hire both Jimbo and The Ogre and watch heads explode.

I don't think this is really the way that this would work.
Very few coaches would LEAVE LSU for Texas.
But most coaches would pick Texas if given a chose between LSU and Texas as per available resources.
Very few coaches would turn down either job.
