It is a grind if you play the schedule the rest of us have to play. This year proved that. Nobody ever imagined you could get a schedule that soft before. Yet somehow you did and now you want us to respect you for beating up the lower half and avoiding the big boys?
Nah. Looks like you'll be waiting a couple years for that because you've got the same schedule next year.

FYI: don’t bang on Aggie too much. They did vote you in the club. Also, chanting SEC etc to another SEC fanbase just isn’t done.
Congratulations on great season. You played who was in front of you and with one exception, handled business.

Op, unlike you I didn't buy a tee-shirt.
I have degrees from both schools but identify only as an Aggie because of what the spirit of the school embodies and because the longhorns are flakey.
Football had absolutely nothing to do with my decision.
See Aggies understand that chanting SEC when playing another SEC team sounds like mocking the conference.
And notice when a targeting call against the longhorns was overturned, Aggies didn't throw garbage on our field.
After this season I am even more assured I made the right decision to support only Texas A&M.

it wasnt hard what was hard is having to endure a freshman offense and injuries .......we have the defense. we have never been this bad on offense in 30 years.... this isnt normal and you know that and still lost to us.,

For the record they were adamantly against us joining and only “voted us in the club” after a call from the Commish telling them to get in line.
Anyway I laughed as well when I heard the SEC chant because I knew why they were doing it. To irritate Aggy, as in reminding them that we’re back together again, and by the way doing quite well even though we had to listen to you telling us for 13 years that we’d never make it in the SEC.
As for our schedule, on paper in any given year if you see Michigan, Florida, Georgia, and three rivalry games with Oklahoma, Arkansas, and A&M, that’s a hell of a schedule. And fwiw we beat Bama in Tuscaloosa last year. Nothing we can do if 6 of those 7 teams are mediocre at best this year. Shrug.

Honestly I expected more from aTm especially with it being a home game and them charging 1000.00 plus a seat.
Man I wish I could collect just what they made off this game.
Ewers and Manning are top self QBs nice win for Texas.
Texas didn’t seem bothered at all with the crowd totally not bothered by the crowd noise.
In 2 years your schedule will change and so will the competition then we will see how good Texas is or not
