At multiple times throughout the game, there were patriotic songs played (Lee Greenwood - God Bless the USA and a few others) and the entire stadium sang loudly in unison. The fans and student section rocked the entire game. It's not because we're Texas. That's the league; SEC football is a religion. There are zero signs of wokeness in the SEC. Meanwhile, our team will go home to Austin and continue to hear about EOT litigation and professors that teach non-binary, they/them, gender, and ethnic studies.
Fayetteville is tougher than Austin. UA's fanbase is tougher than UT's fanbase. UA's student section is tougher than UT's student section. At least Sarkisian has been in the SEC and knows what it takes to win in the league. Being social justice warriors ain't going to mean sh$t in the SEC.

They are soft but it has nothing to do with campus politics. Every campus has far left professors. They are soft because their lines suck, especially OL.
Case in point. That walk on linebacker from Ft Worth you kept seeing for Texas...Luke Brockermeyer....his grandfather played OT for Texas, his Dad was an All American OT for Texas. He has two brothers who are twins playing on the OL and were the #6 overall and #191 overall recruits last year. Guess where they committed to?
Yep, Alabama. That's two high caliber starting offensive linemen that would be automatic Texas commits under Mack Brown that now aren't.

I actually agree w the politics angle. That ain't it. What is it, to me, is like many kids they walk around with some big big arrogance on that 40 acres. For many that's just life same as HS. Whip their arse and it should be a wake up call but there's a sanctuary down there that is state of the art to hide in. Other talented kids love beating their entitled asses.
