If true, I hope he goes to prison.

Not casting final judgement. If he's innocent, we'll know relatively soon. Beard has tremendous resources at his disposal to defend himself.

Nevertheless, domestic violence is much more frequently under-reported than many people realize.

I guess. I mean, it's really not hard to not strangle somebody

Whether this gets bumped down a charge or not in the court system, he needs to have coached his last game at Texas.

Texas would never sweep something like this under the rug.

He’s a POS end of story. He had been charged with 3rd degree felony domestic assault. He is the only male in the house and has 3 daughters. He out his hands around a females throat, that much we do know.

No they don’t, at least not always.

Evidence is a thing.

Witnesses, physical marks, etc. He’s the head coach at Texas. What are the odds that he has a home security system with video that may have caught something?

Waiting on that evidence to come out in court is right but they brought a felony charge against a high profile public figure. Expect it to be more than a he said she said case.

Yikes if you're actually this diluted and believe this.

And frick that turncoat bitch Beard.
Oh wait. You're a tech fan. Of course you're assuming the worst of a fanbase that had absolutely nothing to do with this and is figuring this out at the same time as everybody else.

What a shame.

Pretty sad you have no idea how your own school works. If you actually are an alumni. Doubt it

Nothing in that story says Texas swept anything under the rug. It says he was arrested and his family members and high school coaches pressured her to drop the charges. Unfortunately that’s very common whether the offender has a high profile athlete or a local redneck from the trailer park.

i'm just relaying what a LEO said. he's obviously got a hell of a lot more experience than most. he did not say all cases come down to 2 sides story. he just said a lot of cases. without putting words in his mouth, his point was not to convict or defend the Beard. (he's an Aggie to boot. no love for the horns) hell it may be as bad the charge indicates, and he still might get off or get a lesser charge.

Ah... the old "I wasn't smart enough to get in, so there's no way the person I don't like was smart enough themselves" defense from a red raider The most typical response of them all.

I do know how our school works. Willing to make a wager that Beard has coached his last game in Austin? I'm sure you're all talk, but humor me anyway
