Apparently, Tejas doesn't get the Notre Dame treatment
Do you think they are jealous they don't get treated like ND? That could explain a lot.

But y’all clamored about being in the SEC for tough schedules and now cry when you have 1 tough OOC game bc you’re not used to losing more in the conference. Time to man up or shut up
Georgia just pussed out of playing Louisville....

I think Texas is legitimately hot right now, but they don’t deserve to be in the playoff based on the holistic body of work.
Nothing to do with Ohio State. They should be excited for next season though

Poor attempt at a troll. In all reality Texas should look at canceling Michigan in 2027 and ND in 28,29. I think it’s too late to cancel tOSU in 2026. The tough OOC games were scheduled during the 4 team playoff era when you needed a schedule boost. It helped us in 2023 because beating Alabama got us in, and hurt us this year. There isn’t any reason to push your SOS up with a 12 or 16 team playoff. Teams shouldn’t be playing a tough OOC anymore.
You guys need to quit blaming it on the OSU loss. Had you beaten Florida you would have been in even with the losses to OSU and Georgia.
The OSU loss did not keep you out of the playoffs. Had you scheduled Georgia School for the Blind and beaten them 100-0, but lost to Florida and gotten beat by Georgia by 25 points you probably would not have been in the playoffs, either. There were just too many 2 loss teams this year.

Looks like a lackluster playoffs across the board regardless
I actually think it is a better field than last year.
Last year:
Clemson
Arizona State
SMU
Boise
Indiana (Last year's Indiana)
This year James Madison and Tulane are the only two teams that give me the heaves and i won't watch. The others could be decent matchups.
I mean, let's face it...as long as there are 12 teams (WAY too many) with one (at least) being from G5, it is going to be bad.
And now people want to expand to 16?

Weak. Dude Ohio ST loss barely moved Tex in the polls. Stop with the BS lying. Its enough. Miss St Kentucky and freekin Florida got you dumped, nothing else!

You schedule tough out of conference teams

Which 10-2 teams this season does the committee put in the playoffs over Texas? Be realistic, but I'm genuinely curious who you think would get in over us..

Okay, I'll play this game.
Vandy, Chokelahoma and UTrans all went 6-2 in SEC games. Vandy lost to a ranked UTrans and a ranked Bama. Chokelahoma lost to a ranked UTrans and a ranked Ole Piss. UTrans lost to a ranked Georgia and an unranked Florida.
Chokelahoma got the game because they beat Bama and Vandy lost to Bama.
Both of Vandy's and Chokelahoma's losses were to ranked teams. UTrans had a bad loss to an unranked team. Chokelahoma and Vandy would have got the game before UTrans.
tOSU loss had nothing to do with it.

Good 'ol horns trying to play virtuous victim by continuing to claim the OSU loss kept them out of the playoffs. For the millionth time horn, you're out because of the Florida loss,

Pretty sure we just found out when it comes to 10-2 teams with similar records but played head to head, the head to head matters more than who you lost to.
Case in point: Notre Dame and Miami.
Miami gets in with not one but two unranked losses with Notre Dame having lost two two playoffs teams.
This sounds exactly like your hypothetical with Vandy losing to Bama and Texas.
I understand the hate for Texas, but if Texas goes 10-2 with losses to Florida and Georgia, they would be in the playoffs and would have gotten a bigger bump from beating undefeated A&M.

whorn logic
Miami made the CFP because of their head to head victory over ND, that's why they got the edge when comparing resumes. If Miami had a win over let's say Sam Houston instead of ND, they get left out. This completely disproves your bullsh|t about playing tough OOCs. We beat Michigan which helped us immensely. Don't lose to Florida next time
