It’s a subtle jab at A&M

What's LSU's "winning culture" doing for Brian Kelly? The simple fact is that LSU is too poor to compete today. The players LSU got pre-NIL simply take the money at other schools now.

I don't mean to disparage or take away from LSU's run this century. I'm absolutely jealous of what LSU's done lately. In football and baseball, which is probably the sport LSU should concentrate on going forward.

And yet Brian Kelly is 1-2 vs Aggy.

And LSU is 2-3 vs Aggy this decade.

We tore that stadium down and built a cathedral.

And we didn’t have to rob a children’s hospital to do it.

Not repeatable as we are seeing with Bama. Then a flash in the pan season with Burrow.

So 3 flash in the pan/unrepeatable seasons in 20 years. That is something.

No, that was not my point. In the early 2000s LSU had the greatest coach of all time. Which turned their program around from being completely mediocre for decades to winning a national championship. If you don’t believe me, go look it up. Not a flash in the pan. After Saban left, his fingerprints still existed, which Miles piggybacked on to win another. I remember most LSU fans wanted to run Miles out of town for many years before he got fired.

In 2019, they catch lightning in a bottle with that team.

I could see A&M offering a 75 year old Saban $15 mil a year to lead them to the promised land in 2 years.

The promised land of course being 9 wins.

Brutal jab….but it’s been awesome watching my school play for 7 SEC football titles, winning 5….playing for 4 National Championships, winning 3

But yeah, I like your new football stadium…congrats on that
