You dial 9-1 and when I say so, dial 1 again.

Great argument, from this perspective I understand.
Bandwaggoners perspective, I do not

Nothing in this world is more adorable than a riled up LSU fan.

Didn't mean to go off on you, man, just kind of tired of reading these threads every other day tbh
As far as bandwagoners go, they are the price of success. Lord knows lsu has WAY more than their share, and as a Texan, trust me when I say there are no more annoying bandwagoners than texas fans. Yes, even more annoying than us Aggies, believe it or not.
But from the perspective of someone who's been on this board since before A&M's 2010 Cotton Bowl matchup with lsu, enough is fricking enough, you feel me?

SEC football all time leading win percentage

We read nothing ALL. LAST. OFFSEASON. but how A&M wasn't SEC ready, Manziel would get killed, should give up before we started, should be close to Vandy status, Coach Sumlin didn't know what he was getting into, the SEC is a grind A&M isn't used to and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and frickING ON
Then A&M comes in and, by every conceivable metric and preseason prognostication, absolutely blows the doors off their first year in the toughest conference on the planet (:nb4thirdinthesecwest: , which actually solidifies my point), and we aren't allowed to give some of that shite back? Are you fricking kidding me, OP?
Yes, I am mad.

Actually Tbird is not really out of line. I'm class of '73. Trust me, I've learned humility. It still resonates in every fiber of my being.
The SEC RANT however, like some one else mentioned provides the opportunity/requirement to talk smack whether your "worthy" or not (Arkansas).
Aggies generally (at least of my generation) are slow to boast, but this is an environment that kinda demands it.
So as I said in another thread.....sometimes we overshoot a little. Give us time we aren't used to having something to brag about. we'll learn some perspective soon enough.

And I'm with Whens lunch--I may be class of 2010, but my Dad graduated in '83 and was born and raised in Bryan/College Station. Not kidding when I knew the War Hymn before my ABCs. Aggies and their fans have been through a LOT of shite, and showing out last year exorcised a LOT of demons. Not just from the debacle of a 2011 season, but program-long droughts of failing to live up to expectations. For the first time in a LONG time, Aggie football exceeded expectations and there's reason to believe there's more success to be had, so we are beyond excited to perform well on college football's biggest stage.

Beating the second best team in the Big 12 in the Cotton Bowl, beating Bama, winning 11 games for the first time since 1998, having the first freshman Heisman winner, pulling in a top 10 recruiting class, finishing in the top 5 of the AP poll. Pretty good amount of stuff in there to be proud about.
