This post cannot hide deep-seated remorse that your never-was program was not mentioned and that it’s a foregone conclusion that no one cares as much about games that aggy is in.

It’s kind of weird that the TEXAS AD didn’t say that the Iron Bowl or the FLORIDA/ga Cocktail Party ( which is the best ) is better than the RRR. That just doesn’t make sence now does it?

Any rivalry (outside of Army - Navy of course) that plays the games at a neutral site is not a true rivalry.

I’ve been to all of those mentioned and none of them are as good as the Egg Bowl. There is not another hatred in college sports like the hatred between fancy Mississippi rednecks and regular Mississippi rednecks.

You've obviously never been to a Carolina-Clemson game. It's the purest hate filled rivalry known to man because it began long before football .... it began because of politics and a sheep humping sister banging assclown by the name of Pitchfork Ben Tillman.
I've been to several Egg Bowls over the years .... we used to make duck hunting trips out of those. Attend the game then haul arse to West Point on Corp of Engineers backwater and be out in the swamps at sunrise the morning after Thanksgiving.
Egg Bowls are tame.
The hatred is palatable in the Palmetto Bowl.
But hey, listen, they're all good. And that bumbling drunk Texas AD just illustrated his ignorance and insecurities. He's an assclown.

The cocktail party isnt even in the conversation.
Its the RRS, Iron Bowl, and Ohio State/Michigan.
The best one changes year by year based on which game has the highest ranked teams.

I’ve been to the Egg Bowl twice and witnessed fights both times. I’ve been to several Iron Bowls and never witnessed a fight. Only been to one WLOCP and one Red River and they were very tame but I did enjoy the tradition at both. Even when MSU and Ole Miss both suck, the Egg Bowl rarely fails to entertain. Those other games are more dependent on the national importance of the game.
That said, you’re right about Clemson/USC. Never been.
