This is okay for something to look at on a slow news day.

Based on sportswiter's opinions last year the Aggies would need 5 years to start competing in the SEC.

We'll find out after the head knockin starts!

And all of that is because of how bad we've been since 2000 and how good you have been since 2000....

Eta: the fact of the matter is that we had very equal programs till 2000 and that's even with all of the handicaps we had to deal with till the 70s

Texas A&M’s depth of talent on offense and less-challenging conference schedule should help the Aggies finish higher than LSU in the SEC West.

After the dirty little trick the SEC schedulers pulled on LSU in 2013, they will have to wait for 2014 and hope they don't get hosed by the SEC schedulers for a third straight year.

After A&M completed the greatest season in ncaa history last year to go along with the first hiesman trophy winner how could you not pick them. As much as anyone hates to admit it the longhorn fans were right.

I honestly don't see how you can get to that from this thread

So 12 years accounts for such a wide disparity in ALL-TIME rankings?

And while we're at it, why don't we throw out your best years and include ours and look at it again?

I can't wait for the season to start. So tired of the doubters with nothing to go off of. LSU reloads not rebuilds.

pretty much when so much of that list is put on the 2 titles you have won and the strength of the sec since 2000

Too bad I can't filter it to exclude 1985-1999. The disparity would be HUGE!!

LSU has done much better in the past 10 years than A&M has, therefore, LSU will finish higher. You're an idiot if you base your opinion of football team's on anything other than historical records. Signed, SECR

Oh look. Another horrible post and poster to add to the decline of this board.

Some of us responded to the OP's question with an actual thought-out, realistic response.

The only difference in those point totals comes from "big bowl games" and that's probably because the site puts more weight on the sugar bowl than the cotton bowl

The LSU fan sitting next to me at the A&M game told me he thought Mett was better than Manziel and would trade QBs.

I bet it was Draconian
