Pretty sure Slive had to take away your participation trophy after going 0-8.

Why? Because I don't take it that seriously? I donate money to the school, and I go to some games. I hope they get a boost in the win column with an easy OOC so they can go to a better bowl game.

Did you grow a lot as a person by having a terrible football season? Do you have a lot of character now?

SMU is a BCS school and has been to 4 bowls in a row and won 3.

Exciting and challenging OOC games are for basketball where a loss to a top 10 team means practically nothing. You lose an OOC game in football and that could basically derail your entire season.

But if you're suggesting that instead of rice, we schedule someone like Maryland. I would argue what's the difference. It's just a different flavor of cupcake.

I remember back when UA was terrible. I'd still rather play a ranked team than a cupcake.

sorry brah, I'm right as rain.

SMU is in the AAC now.

AAC/Big East is still a BCS conference.

ergo SMU = BCS

also, Rice went to and won a bowl last year.

Easy for an Alabama fan to say that now. If you were still terrible you would not give a shite who you beat.

ETA: And obviously you only pick tough teams to root for. Red Wings and Liverpool.

more loser's mentality from this guy... if you're scared to lose with probably A&Ms best football team in your lifetime, then by all means.

It's just robbing you, as a fan, the experience of seeing your team play a meaningful game at Kyle Field (are away for that matter).

I'll never understand why fans will toe the party line when it comes to mickey mouse OOC schedules... as an alum/booster/fan you deserve better... you only have a guaranteed 12 games a year... why would someone argue for 4 pitiful games?

Playing #1 ranked Oklahoma was a lot more fun than playing Middle Tennessee State.

Liverpool was a mid table team when I started following them.
First year I followed Detroit, they lost in the finals to Pitt, and it's been downhill since then. Neither team has been easy to pull for.

I can already see a Texas a&m Miss St rivalry. Both second tier teams in yalls state. Yall could get a trophy and everything.

Why did you remove so many of the spaces between words in the quotes?
