Why was A&M fined less than Kentucky?

1st time - $50,000
2nd time - $100,000
3rd time - $250,000

I get the policy. If they don't put forth the facade of trying to stop it, the first kid that is seriously injured will lawyer-up and sue everyone in sight.

But you are right in that it takes the fun out of college sports for students.

Worth every dollar even though I did not partake.

Let’s see,

Arky - $250,000
UK - $250,000
A&M - $100,000

And only 2 of those don't saw off fake horns. We actually pay for whipping asses.

I feel like TAMU has 100+ boosters that will write the check themselves.

Unrelated, I did get a picture on the field in 2012 at Kyle Field after the game. Not sure if that is still a thing, but was a super cool experience to be at midfield.

The fans won the game for the Aggies. They deserve to celebrate. Administration should have rolled out a couple hundred kegs and tapped them.

Their team was terrible, anyone would've rushed the field after beating the #1 team

Good. Birmingham could use the money.

Storming a field is underrated. The whole stigma is lame. Let the kids cause havoc is what I say

If we beat A&M this Saturday, we're going to rush the field. Yes, it's against A&M ... but it's basically like we beat Bama. So we'll rush the field.

Also, this is a joke -- lighten up francis.

List needs updating.

The last time every SEC team stormed the field

It's also wrong because Florida used to storm the field with regularity in the late 70's/early 80's.

It’s a huge win for them. I highly doubt A&M cares. There fans were right to celebrate

And I’ve seen a few Eli Gold comments here, what happened with Eli?

12th man played a big part in the win..let them ceiebrate. With the biggest student body and the biggest endowment in the SEC it’s chump change. Lol

They had a rule in the Big 12 that you could go on the field after a game but it was controlled. Honestly a lot safer than how it is now because it wasn't a frenzy. My son got to kick field goals and catch touchdown passes from me, it was a lot of fun. Had to keep your head on a swivel as footballs were flying all over but it was great. They let us do it for the first year in the SEC and then banned the practice.

The SEC has imposed fines for it for at least a dozen years if not more.
