That's certainly not "I'm not aware of any talk about such a thing but we wish the Big 12 well in their coming season."

We aren’t. Our enrollment is bigger, our stadium is bigger, our facilities are hugely better, our campus isn’t in the middle of the biggest homeless/drug compound in the south. Austin sux in every category. Liberals have ruined UT and Austin. Facts are facts.

No team is going to vote in favor of adding another team from their state.
Florida isn't going to be in favor of Miami or FSU. If we could, Alabama would kick Auburn out. Georgia would never allow GT to return(nor would most of the SEC, because frick GT). Clemson isn't getting an invite, etc.
And really, it should be the first clue that Texas isn't coming to the SEC.
Not to mention Oklahoma has it's deal with OkSt. In order for Oklahoma to leave a conference and not take Oklahoma St with it - the fricking governor has to agree to it or some crazy shite like that. They may or may not, I guess it depends on who is elected.
So if it happens, it's not going to be easy.
