I’d pick Arkansas over A&M 100 times out of 100.
Nicer location: Arkansas by a mile. NWA is pretty, College Station is surrounded by sun-scorched nothingness.
Campus: Arkansas has a beautiful campus. College Station is awful considering how much money there is flowing at A&M.
Town: Fayetteville is charming and quaint and while technically part of a bigger metro area, feels like a cozy college town. College Station is meh.
Academics: technically A&M is more well regarded, but Arkansas has improved a lot in recent memory and Aggy has turned into a bloated diploma mill. The difference isn’t big enough to justify living in College Station unless I really wanted an engineering degree or to break into the oil and gas industry.
Culture: one is a quintessential college experience and the other is a weird cult.
