Top Level Fan Support

NIL basically allowed the full support to pay off, legally.
If you quit ignoring all these facts in favor of the same tired tropes from this board, then you won’t be surprised anymore.

Wait, do some of you actually think College Station is a fun place to live? Like unironically? Oh man haha
It seems like it sucks, and I've heard it's more Conservative than most college towns (even in the SEC) but let's be honest, all of our towns, for the most part, are backwater, redneck outposts.

I do know that I can go to any gas station in CS without getting robbed or shot or both. Which is more than you can say bout any Louisiana town with more than 1,000 people.

They also refined the recruiting process and experience for players to a science and have unlimited budget for it.
Can you expand on this?
Sure. A&M has expanded their recruiting support staff and made sure that when recruits come to town they have an orchestrated and amazing experience. They do everything possible to make sure that recruits have a quality and professional experience. One of the key hires for Jimbo was bringing in guys like Malchow from UGA who was just hired away to Oregon to create those experiences. They also do a ton of homework on follow up and everything possible to keep lines of communication open.
Do other schools do this? Sure, very few at the level A&M does now though. Part of that is the consistency of having Jimbo there for a few years, he has been able to fully implement his "dream" system for appealing to recruits. Making sure recruits have a 1st Class experience from beginning to end makes a difference and to an extent if A&M can just match schools like Bama and UGA they will win some recruits due to proximity or just kids wanting something different.
As mentioned A&M has also done a very good job of encouraging their commits and current players to be a part of the recruiting process as well.

We do!
And hundreds of thousands of others do too.

Baton Rouge is so awesome it literally just split because half the town wanted to get away from the crime and corruption. Most of the town is dirty and unsafe. The LSU campus is great and the food is fantastic but there aren't exactly a lot of people looking to move to Baton Rouge because it is such a wonderful place to live. CS is booming both because of the school but with retirees and folks who want a nice, safe town to live in reasonable proximity to Large Metros in Texas.

There will be a lot of Calzada type transfers when some of these players realize how much College Station sucks to live in and how angry Aggies are compared to anywhere else in America. Aggies are very nice to away fans, but they can be terrible to each other. They’re overcompensating.
Typical of numerous and never ending shitposts.

Don't bother trying to explain it to them. We have the same issue with recruiting because all of the competition paints CS as a podunk town and it backfires on them. When the recruits get to campus they find it is nothing of the sort
It's almost like an extension of Houston at this point

This is true. For Harris and Evan Stewart this was especially true. They had heard so many negative things about CS and they came and were blown away. It made them less trusting of those who had negative recruited as well. Crapping on other schools can definitely backfire on you.

Bryan...is not.

Yep. Amazing to me how the stereotypes about College Station as a podunk nothing town in the middle of nowhere still get repeated by so many folks, despite the fact that there 250,000+ people in the College Station metro today, and is now damn near commutable to some of the newest and nicest parts of Northern Houston Metro.
The stereotype is so far from the truth these days it's absurd.

It’s a quick and effective way of sorting those who know what they’re talking about from those who don’t.

Also CS has 300k people in the metro and is a pure college town. The town revolves around the school but you have everything there you could want and it's just an hour down the road to Houston if there is something else you want. It's also a very safe and clean city and has a lot of unique charm.
This.
80% of the people that read this have never been to College Station and want to believe the anonymous people who post here using fake names (many have multiple accounts), who have an agenda.
It's located in the middle of a triangle of DFW, San Antonio and Houston. Austin is 90 miles away but it has turned into such a liberal cesspool due to the Californians, texas university dropouts and the homeless moving there.

Then they spend a year in town, tell A&M fans to "smd" and get out of town as fast as possible
