Again, your "Aggie network" isn't flipping a high 4 star safety from South Georgia away from UGA...It's not making the number one D lineman in the country from Tennessee go off the reservation and pick A&M...Those kids aren't thinking "Well geez, what if I blow out my knee and never go to the NFL?...Might as well make that so called 40 year decision", they're kids that would be in Athens and Tuscaloosa if money weren't involved...Again, I don't really care, good for y'all for making this new world work for you, but don't try and say it's something that it's not.

You mean Jimbo might have more than just one pitch? Now that isn't fair is it?

Yeah I've seen that, I don't buy it at all...Was never at any point an A&M lean, then all of a sudden he commits out of the blue...He's not gonna be like "Yeah, my heart was in Knoxville, but A&M showed me and my family that bag!"...Seriously, just call it what it is.

The man had big NIL deals waiting for him wherever he chose to go. He chose A&M. He told you why with his own words. If you choose to belive your own questionably founded opinions over the words of the man himself, that's up to you.

And it wasn't out of the blue. A&M brought him to campus multiple times. The more he visited, the more he liked what A&M had to offer.

quote:

"I chose Texas A&M because Coach (Jimbo) Fisher has been building a lot of good teams around there," Nolen told Sports Illustrated. "Seeing how that defense has progressed over the years, it's like 'wow, I can actually be a part of something like that and be a part of a team with the number one defense in the SEC. A team with one of the highest sack totals coming from the defensive line in the SEC.'

quote:

"I feel like that is a once in a lifetime opportunity."
Tennessee hosted him for a late visit in early December and pushed for a flip for most of the cycle, but five trips to College Station (including one last weekend) created plenty of familiarity for the senior Volunteer State standout.

Heh, I'm sure he did...I'm sure he wasn't the only one in his camp who liked what A&M had to offer.

I added some of his reasons above. Feel free to read them if you want to have an informed opinion rather than your current one.

Or don't. This in tRant after all.

Just so you know, if I thought UF was buying players, I wouldn't care, I wouldn't lose one nights sleep...It's legal now, and this is a cutthroat sport.

What does the University of Mississippi have to offer that A&M doesn’t? For the most part, recruits go to the place they like the most. That has never changed. With the portal, now they are able to easily change their minds if they feel like they’d fit better or get more playing time somewhere else.

And I don't care if A&M is. But it's all legal now. If a player wants to say "I committed for the NIL money" they can.

Walter Nolan didn't. He says he wants to play on the A&M defense because it's among the best in the nation, and excells particularly at putting up impressive stats at his position.

I don't have any reason not to believe him. It's not like nobody else would have put up big NIL deals for Nolan. The money was there wherever he went. He chose A&M over the others. He's said publicly why. Why not believe him?

This isn’t a comparison. Ole miss is significantly below their level of play in recruiting right now. A&M is significantly higher.

You mean the thing that the vast majority of college aged kids are these days?...I assure you "conservative family values" is not the pitch you wanna use to sell your town to 17-18 year olds in 2022.

Why didn't you tell us that earlier? I guess we should contact on the NLI signers of that number 1 signing class immediately so they can go somewhere else?

Don't be so bitter, it makes you look jealous.....oh....never mind, you are jealous.

Florida and LSU are two teams that have athletes regardless of their program status. Always.

They ask silly/trolling questions and get mad when someone responds with favorable facts about A&M.

A&M finally got serious about its commitment to football after experts said it was lacking, and now it's not okay. What a bunch of crybaby twats.

A&M went 9-1 in 2020 with an All SEC schedule plus a NY6 Win. Acting like that wasn't the equivalent of winning 10 games is just moronic or self delusional

A&M math! 9 + 0 = 10! That’s cute.

No. 8 regular season games plus bowl win plus games originally scheduled against Colorado, Fresno State and an FCS school = 12.
