Per the NCAA, the Vols records have already been officially changed to:

0-5 in 2019
0-7 in 2020
5-19 = Pruitt's final record

Keep in mind that a team vacating wins doesn't mean those "losses" result in the other team's "wins".

Tennessee's official win/loss/tie record now stands at: 856-410-53.

Winningest NCAA Division 1 FBS Football Schools

1. Michigan.....989-353-36
2. Ohio State...953-331-53; ALABAMA 953-335-43
4. Notre Dame...938-334-42
5. TEXAS........936-390-33
6. OKLAHOMA.....934-338-53

7. Penn State...920-406-41
8. Nebraska.....912-417-40
9. GEORGIA......868-428-54
10. USC..........867-363-54

11. TENNESSEE....856-410-53 (before the vacated wins, UT was tied with USC in 10th place)

OK, we took our lumps. I never heard what North Carolina's penalties were for having bogus classes for athletes.

Not piling on here....I actually feel very sorry for Vols fans and UT....going through USC's penalties almost 20 years ago, it really hurts and USC was hit even harder than UT.

UT has a proud history and it's sad how only a few people can ruin it in a short time.

IDGAF.

The 28 schlarships are going to sting like a bitch. Remember the Franchioni/Price/Shula years? That was 21 scholarships.

You hate to see it.

It’s actually only 10 over the next five years. I think they’ll manage to survive.

Tennessee's fine = $8 Million
Pruitt's payout = $13 Million

So...UT was able to find a way to fire Pruitt and save $5 Million?

The figure for Alabama reflects their new total after wins that have been vacated. Same goes for any school on the list that have had wins taken away.
