I'll give them that. They don't mind scheduling OOC, even with Bama on the schedule.

Off the top of my head, in the last 10 years or so, they've played UCLA (0-2), Oregon (0-2), Cal (1-1), Oklahoma (0-1), Wyoming (0-1)

Even though they almost always lose (1-7) these games, at least they're playing them.

Scheduling is years in advance...

Arkansas has TCU and Michigan coming up in the next 4 years

Maybe someday UT will be good again

They should try playing Arkansas State in Jonesboro if they're so tough.

This is the Fresno State argument as well. "We'll play anyone, anywhere". Then they lose.

We beat your best team ever with one of our worst teams ever. And came back from down 14 with 3 mins left to win again the next year.

I'll never figure out why 2008 Vols were so bad. Dave Clawson is a good coach, IMO.

This is true. Going back to the 70's they have played UCLA, PSU, ND etc. They played these teams when they were really good.

To be fair, everyone came from 14 down to beat us last year. Kentucky and Mizzou are not impressed.

They are destroying the SEC's SOS! This is just their way of trying to keep the rest of us out of the play offs!!

I understand the not so subtle dig but I am kind of jealous of UTs, UGAs, and LSUs scheduling. Playing old ACC rivals is good, and not a bad option, but to play another P5 school outside of the ACC would be nice.

this is true and god knows that 7th or 8th win is important to them

No doubt, I wish we could play a west coast or a B1G team during regular season.
