Agreed. One of the things I respect about them, and Fulmer specifically. He always tried to get the Tenn name in the West coast. Smart move.

Tennessee is probably the only state in the SEC that has to schedule those games to help with recruiting. They need the national visibility. Tennessee high school football has been historically bad.
I don't know why Vandy hasn't scheduled a more competitive OOC schedule over the years. I mean, getting beat by an Oregon or an Oklahoma can't be worse than getting beat by Western Kentucky, can it?
