hey used wooden bats and had uniforms from the 19th centaury,
So...they wore uniforms from the 1800's or they wore uniforms with Centaurs on them...or they dressed up as Centaurs?

They should play that way all the time IMHO.

That’s awesome. I think college should use wooden bats regardless. It’s cool T at least see it for a game.

Probably none. We used wooden bats in fall ball when I was in high school 20 years ago. The college summer leagues use wood bats as well
The probably get more swings with wood bats than Alloy or composite considering high school summer showcase is wood bat.
My kid is a 9th grade player. This season he will play 17 games at school. Probably 40 over the summer showcase.

Everything about that turn back the clock game sounds awesome. Wish more teams would do something like that from time to time.

I agree. I feel like it would serve College Players well in transitioning to the next level. I also wonder if it would be safer for pitchers. College kids hit the snot out of baseballs with aluminum bats. I haven't done any research from a safety concern so I could be wrong.

That’s why they switched to BBCOR bats. The exit velos are no higher now than a wooden bat

Game doesn’t count. Wooden bats

Midweek games don’t matter anyways. We win the series this weekend we will still be #1

Need to keep using our illegal bats. None of this wood crap.

I read where aluminum bats were more cost effective than wooden bats for schools, but I have no idea.

They’re far, far more cost effective. If they weren’t, colleges would be using wooden bats.

Would love it if teams who play a tournament or midweek game, at an MLB, or MiLB stadium, used wooden bats for those games.

College baseball can’t afford wooden bats.
There are like 3-4 schools if that which profit in baseball. Arkansas is one of them and the profit is less than 1M.
The cost of replacing wooden bats throughout the season would cripple 90% of college baseball teams
