Some Georgia posters don't seem to like NYCAuburn for some reason. I've always found him to be direct (The NY part of him?) but honest and fair. That's just me, though.

UGA conceded a game. The Conference stated Auburn won. The president of the conference at the time said Auburn won. Commonly accepted is a pretty loose term, wouldnt you say...

Which year are you talking about that everyone considers an auburn win that doesn't count officially?

I don't remember, but from what I have heard a game was called with1 or 2 minutes left with Auburn holding a pretty decent lead. It was circumstances in which Georgia was not going to come back from. Officials at the time, I believe called it a draw because regulation had not expired.

Seems like it was in the early 1900's, maybe? I'm sure I got most (If not all) of the specifics wrong, though.

That was the gist of it, though.

It's a shame that 1899 game was declared a draw.

I feel like OP included us in an attempt to hide the fact that it's really just him trying to troll Auburn.

We are just innocent bystanders in all this shite.

However, seeing the OP get rolled up in his own thread makes it worth it, IMO.

Bravo, OP. This went swimmingly...

How old are you by the way? This thread topic is legitimately sad because somewhere out in the cold of February a guy felt the need to toot his own horn about his upper middle tier school being marginally better than two other upper middle tier schools. You didn’t graduate from UVA, Yale, Stanford, etc.....it’s Georgia ??.

I have a lot of friends who have varying degrees from UGA and genuinely feel bad for them when I stop and remember they dont know that feeling of watching your school reach the pinnacle of college football and hold up that crystal ball/playoff trophy.

ROFL!!

Both schools have won a Natty in FB since UGA won their last one. This is especially funny as far as UT is concerned with the dumpster fire that program has been for the last 20 years.

Could be. I haven't noticed a lot of animosity between Georgia and Tennessee.

We have as many Natties as Auburn, so I wouldn't feel too badly for them. And we got closer than your school did this year, and seem to be on the right path, while Auburn seems to be in a bit of a rut lately, so there's that, too.

This has to be the strangest troll I see on the Rant. "We've won one more recently!"

Is Auburn's greatest accomplishment that they won one more recently?

Not that they have won more...or are doing better now....but they won one 8 years ago? Shall we go down the list of schools that have won National Titles more recently that Auburn? Does that make them better football schools?
