Hubbs said that based on what he's heard last night, Pearl is going to make it through this.

Just yesterday Uconn basketball was punished for 8 major NCAA infractions, the sanctions included a failure to monitor charge on Jim Calhoun, he received a 3 game coaching ban and the school was put on probation.

I would like to know if they punish Kiffen even at his new school. They did Larry Blakenly when he went to Troy. That guy really got the worse of it, and others did more than he did, but he took the butt of it, and he was only truly trying to help the kid and his family.

Why are basketball programs generally not given postseason bans, but football programs are typically hit with them automatically?

What might have saved UT from the LOIC is the fact that Kiffen is no longer there.

Why does the NCAA do anything?

Who knows, precedence doesn't matter. There's no rhyme or reason.

I would say the NCAA has to suspend him for a year to maintain any credibility but they don't really give a shite about that.

Do schools get bonus money from the NCAA tourney, like they do in football in bowls? might be somewhat of a reason
