Miami has 30 starts (very low) returning on the OL, has to replace their starting RB, has major QB issues and will probably be starting a guy that's never played there, and is in the first year of a new coaching staff, although the new head coach was the former DC, so maybe the continuity issues won't be TOO bad. Miami has to replace 3 senior DBs off of last year's defense and they have to replace Gerald Willis and Joe Jackson, two really good DL. They should still be talented up front, and their LB corp may be one of the best in the nation.

Florida has 24 starts (very low) returning, so miami will probably also be able to disrupt the Florida offense with pressure. That's really the name of the game. Miami has to sell out and stop Florida from running the ball and then HOPE Felipe Franks is rushed enough that that he makes mistakes and they can capitalize on good field position. That and they have to win in special teams. They have a decent kicker and a good return guy, so maybe if they make plays there they can set up their offense for shorter fields.

That's so key, because Miami's offense is not going to be good. New QB, new RB, good WR's yes, but a green Ol to go along with a brand new coaching staff. That inexperienced unit will be going against a veteran defensive front from Florida, so you can expect FLorida to make life hard on the miami offense when they tru to run. Miami probably won't be able to run the ball on this front, so it'll come down to a rookie QB having to make plays against the Florida secondary, with Dean, Huggins, Wilson, Stewart, and Henderson expected to be one of the better secondaries in all of football.

UF also has the advantage at punter, a good kicker, and a solid returner in swain, so UF has just as much a chance as Miami to make a play in the kicking game.

I think the biggest difference in this game outside of the Florida advantage in the secondary is at QB. UF has an experienced guy that came into his own last year and proved that he could move the ball. Miami doesn't have that, so unless Florida gives them turnovers, I think Florida has a pretty big edge here because of the QB position.

I think Florida can cover -7

No one is perfect, but I base my opinions on the facts, whereas others post the opinion without knowing the facts. It’s a significant difference. It’s exactly why straws hates me.

Other posters don’t like their fairy tales spoiled by reality, and that’s what I do. If an opinion isn’t supported factually or logically, then I am gonna call it out. There is zero reason to concede to an idiotic take.

Holy shite. Are you around age 25?

Franks is not a great QB, but he was a ton better last year than the year before and there is no reason to expect he won't continue to improve

Just a little advice, you should look in a mirror and be honest with yourself. The first step is acceptance. Straws doesn’t hate you because you post facts, Straws hates you because you’re a condescending, egotistical, nobody that thinks he knows everything. You won’t believe me but that’s the truth. Have a good day.

I was once 25. It was in those formative years that I developed a liking to talking trash about college football on the internet.

I can see why Posting facts to prove someone wrong looks condescending. No one ever likes a know it all. That’s not breaking news.

It's not so much his ego, which yes is gargantuan but what fundamentally bothers me about him is that he never admits fault. Even in the response he said: "Nobody's perfect."

Ask him to find one bad take he's ever had, one time he was wrong about something. He will never tell you.

shite, this dude told me that it was my fault he misread my comment because I had made typos in the past.

He's an insincere actor in any given conversation, and unlike me which I only get hate from Dog fans -- you can find many different people, including his own fan base, who know and understand that he is not a rational nor honest actor.

I legitimately feel sorry for the guy, because him being right is obviously anchored to his self-worth.

Easily. That's more based on my belief that Miami is going to be awful than anything else.

Florida 26-10 and Miami has under 250 total yards.

If I were to bet money on every time Florida "should" win a game I would be living in a cardboard box by now

What is one factually incorrect Florida take I have had in our discussions?

You almost never make posts that prove me wrong, so how am I supposed to admit to being wrong? The burden is on you to prove me wrong first.

Last week, another gator proved me wrong about the 2019 Florida class. Unlike you, I didn’t resort to calling him names, or claim he was insincere for knowing the facts.

You think me knowing the facts makes me insincere or dishonest, but that’s an absurd take. Knowing the facts proves you wrong and you don’t like it, so you pout through insult or straw men.

Mullen is not Muschamp nor McElwain. There is no reason to think this by any metric.

UF has one of the better SEC records since expansion in 2012. 35-21

The Pic is from last year this time.
