Are you a fan of Florida or something?

They talk more about Florida than their own team, which is kinda sad.

Anyway, here's the ESPN Predictor just to pile on.

Miami's offensive line is just as inexperienced as Florida's and Florida's defensive front 7 is just as good as Miami's.

Florida has a better secondary than miami, better RB, better QB.

It's at a neutral site.

Overall talent is about equal, with a slight edge to Florida.

Florida has an in tact coaching staff in its 2nd year and Miami has a new head coach in game 1 with a brand new QB.

I'd take Florida -7 and feel OK about it.

I am pumped for the first game of the year. The game is ooc, which bodes well for Franks.

Franks in SEC play 2017:
87/151, 57.6%, 1027 yards, 5 TD, 5 INT
42 rushes, 36 yards

Franks in SEC play 2018:
116/207, 56%, 1418 yards, 10 TD, 5 INT
70 rushes, 150 yards, 5 TD

Looks like improvement to me.........

My point was that UF is a more talented squad, but this specific matchup in the front 7 makes the game hard to predict so early in the season.

My guess? UF by one score or less in a defensive struggle. 16-12 or something. However, one defensive or ST score from Miami changes this completely.

Take the points. Take the under. Take the Gators straight up.

I do agree it will be a defensive struggle most of the game. Under is probably a safe bet.

I agree on taking under. Both front sevens on defense are better than the Oline they are facing. Miami has no offense though. I think Toney is the big key. That guy averages 11 yards a touch and he should see a ton of action this year. Mullen gave him the number 1 jersey, so it means he will put a lot of faith in him just as he did Percy.

Yes, mortgage the house, sell your car and get the biggest cash advance you can and put it on FLORIDA.

Yeah 42-3 sounds about right. They aren’t stopping our offense. This is the same defense that gave up 300 yards rushing and 35 points to freaking Wisconsin. It’s gonna get ugly.

Nobody cares this was never a debate about Franks in conference numbers, how can we get you to get Franks off your mind? You have completely fabricated an argument just to talk about Franks. Why?

That Wisconsin team had two O-Linemen who will be playing in the NFL this coming season. Let's not just assume UF will walk over the Cane front.

Why not? This thread is off the rails anyway. I have no clue what I’m talking about. Don’t take my word as gospel. Take Miami for all I care. Freaking fall camp hasn’t even started who the hell knows.

I made a factual post. No one has argued against it, so nothing has been fabricated, but you are still throwing a tantrum over it.

No I’m trying to understand why you posted something nobody was asking for just to argue. You still haven’t explained why.

Depends on if Mullen is wearing shorts or not. He is 0-1 vs. teams he should beat the hell out of when wearing shorts for the opener.

Feels like Miami has more juice coming into it since the Diaz hire.

UF still way more talented. So toss up i guess

Educate the poster about what? That he only improved in OOC games? Why does that matter? Our last two games were out of conference and those were his best games of the year. If it were against Vandy and LSU instead of FSU and Michigan, would it make you feel better? I don’t understand why it matters so much to you.
