only 1 title, all the way back in 1959
Pretty crazy to make it 44 times between the 2 of them and have 1 title to show for it, and that was almost 70 years ago

I think it's crazy that Vandy has only been 5 times as good as they have been with Corbin for the last 20 years. They have done well when they make it though. This year was fairly typical for them. National seed and don't make it.

That's the craziest stat imo. I mean 24 times you'd think you'd at least luck into 1 but nope.

12 titles in 21 appearances is crazy efficient for that high of a number of visits.

Florida was absolutely teeing off against LSU in game 2

I'm surprised to not see any LSU players on this list. They had some mashers in the 90s.

College baseball was a totally different animal back then. It's a different sport altogether. It's SOOO much more competitive now. These are their titles:
1958 National Championship
1961 National Championship
1963 National Championship
1968 National Championship
1970 National Championship
1971 National Championship
1972 National Championship
1973 National Championship
1974 National Championship
1978 National Championship

I don't know if they could actually measure them back then, which is probably why the list is all recent, I am guessing.

USC is the king of baseball
Kentucky is the king of basketball
Alabama is the king of football
I'll take it

The closest basketball analog is K-State with 12 Elite Eights and 4 Final Fours with no title.
Baseball is the hardest tournament to win, IMO. You have to be good, deep and lucky, all at the same time.

They have done well when they make it though.

Yeah when you guys get in, you do some damage, which makes it surprising you have only been 5 times. I think you have 3 trips to the finals, and two trips to the semis, IIRC.
